The platform charges a 1% fee on every donation made, which is used to fund platform maintenance, development of new features and integrations, and security audits. This fee is minimal when compared to traditional centralized crowdfunding options and helps ensure the longevity and success of the platform. It is possible that in the future, the fee structure may be replaced by a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) governance model with a corresponding governance token.
